Pinch or squeeze
No BUT i have experienced the THUMP which after persistent runs make me feel nauseous, as if I've been on a stomach churning roller coaster hour on end !! Still not used to it after 2 years of them!!
More often it feels as if Ive been thumped in the chest and 'winded', although short runs of them make je feel like my heart has been squeezed.
I experienced a squeeze sensation earlier in the year and went to A&E. they did bloods/xray/and didn't really find anything apart from my iron which is always a bit low, and they mentioned my folate levels were low, which they said could be a possible contributing factor. If you haven't had your vitamins and minerals checked that might be a place to start. I know it's very frightening when you get it, and after having ectopics since 18, I'm now 51, I never get used to it. the majority of the time I can try and ignore it but I still get some scary ones.
I have frequent ectopics and sometimes I get odd sensations with them, like bubbles popping under my ribs, pulling sensations, painless squeezing sensations, as well as the “classic” thumping beat after an ectopic and being aware of the big gaps. It’s easy for health care professionals to say they are “benign” and the like, but they feel awful, especially when you are getting them every few beats.
