I have had PVCs PACs and salvo 3-7 beats picked up on holter monitor which are very scary when happening . My main concern is I get these strange feelings when resting especially at night that wakes me up, and feels like an electrical current is moving around heart and into next area, this come and goes for a few minuits, also get strange general feeling around chest area when resting?? It is very concerning, but holter did not pick up anything when happening??

Anyone else have these strange symptoms?? It’s driving me grazy!!

Please don’t take this as me dismissing your concerns but 3-7 PVCS on a holter monitor is really not concerning. Was it a 24 or 48 hour monitor?

Hi

It was a 2 week monitor. The 3-7 beat salvos lasted just a few seconds, but really scary. One episode lasted 10 mins, this is why I had a holter monitor fitted.

Here is a comparison for you. I wore a monitor before my ablation. It was a 48 hr one. I was very symptomatic hence the monitor. I had 14,000 in that time. Hope that makes you feel a little less concerned.

Do you feel anything else when it happens or just the electrical feeling? I don’t get that but I just had two episodes of NSVT yesterday (1- 6 beats and 1- 11 beats) and I got blurry vision, it felt irregular and I got this heavy rush.

Did you happen to have NSVT on the monitor or was it just all individual PVCs?

I wore a holter monitor for two weeks, and in that time, abnormal heartbeats made up 12% of the beats my heart made, which places me in the very frequent category. Hopefully, yours are not serious, as they are very infrequent, but I DO have a similar feeling, of an electric jolt or shock during the day.
