Hi so I have had palpitations in the past
However only about 3 times in the last 3 years so its not that bad
and all were preceded by a panic attack, lack of sleep, dehydration, stimulants like wine or coffee. They didn't just come out of nowhere.
Anyways been under a lot of stress, anxiety in the last year
Emotional stress
growing a few businesses, working a high paying Wall st sales job
also stuff going on in my family, dealing with my own personal demons
So far, I've been able to deal and heal all issues. So I'm in a good place
but it seems that that traumatized my body and my body now is conditioned to
be "in anxious mode"
So like out of the blue I'll get nervous twitches
Tremors, around chest, heart area
Ectopic beats here and there(extra hard beats in middle of chest)
Also lately when I've been working out like
doing upside down handstands, where I'm bending my body at the spine, it's like
I feel this tightness in my chest. I think its because I'm squeezing/bending my esophagus and and the vagus nerve which controls my heart's rhythm.
Also when I turn my body all the way around from the torso, keeping my legs straight like a bit too much, once again squeezing/bending the esophagus again and I get an irregular heart beat
Most have told me its because when you bend the body in that extreme way, you're creating internal pressure and that can cause heart palps. and also because your esophagus is connected to the V nerve which controls the heart rhythm.
However I'm trying to just get this tight feeling in my stomach, chest gone.
I notice when I get out of my head and focus on my work, business, go for walk, it's gone.
I also noticed that I don't get gassed for air or feel dizzy after my intense calisthenics, plyometrics, strength training workout. So I know my heart's fine.
Also did a cold water test where you submerge your hands in cold water and if they turn red, it means you have good circulation. They did. If they turn white, blue that means there is an issue.
SO curious why this chest tightness when I bend my body and just in general.
If it is anxiety, then any ideas on how I can recondition my mind, body to be relaxed as it once used to be.
Of if it's a heart issue any tips.
I think its' the former, not the latter just based on my cardio, conditioning and the relationship I notice between my mind or mental state and my body.
Thanks
