Successful Ablation and given the all clear !

Hi just and update on my 11 year old Daughter who was diagnosed with AVRNT 3 years ago. She went in for her cardiac ablation in December on her 11 Birthday and I'm happy to say since that she's off all medication and has not had 1 single issue since :-) We've been given the all clear at her follow up and told no need to see her cardiologist for the next 2 years. The relief is major as leading up to her procedure she was having constant breakthrough episodes (weekly) even with the Bisprolol being upped twice in 6 months.

I suppose my reason for this post is that I know people can be nervous about getting it done and some prefer to stay on medication but she is like a different person ever since she had it done. We don't panic now if she forgets to bring her ekg monitor with her somewhere and I'm not constantly waiting on a phonecall from her school to say she's stuck in SVT again! I know there is a 10% chance of a reoccurance at some stage but hopefully that won't happen and she can just get on with her childhood worry free.

How fab , wishing her all the best in life ! I’m having my svt avrnt ablation done on the 20th , here’s hoping it’d successful, after many years of anxiety and long svt episodes!, we have such wonderful treatments available to us these days and svt is curable, always love to read about a happy ending !
