I managed to walk into the wing mirror of a lorry (which overhung the pavement by quite a way) at lunchtime today (and no, I was not on my 'phone!).
I felt fine if rather surprised(!) immediately afterwards but now have a small bump (about 1" in length) on my head and a slight headache. The bump is tender with touch.
I had no loss of consciousness, no vomiting etc.
I really don't want to go and sit and A and E for hours but... as I am on Apixiban, should I?

I read that tread and it seems that as I only have a smallish, not too painful bump, very mild headache and none of the other symptoms, I should be OK.
I will obviously escalate matters if I feel/am sick or headache worsens etc.
Without sounding like an old windbag, I feel that folk rush off to hospital for the slightest thing nowadays. However........., I recalled the 'go to A and E' with a bang on the head' advice, so was a little unsure. The thing is, a 'bang on the head' can be something or nothing and to a degree is subjective!
I am sure it'll be OK but thank you for taking the time to respond, pointing me in the direction of further advice.
