I am new to this site. I have had Woolf Parkinson White Syndrome since birth, but have never had a problem till this March where I had fast heart rate and was taken into hospital. Drugs were used to try to get my heart to normal rhythm, but did not work so had to have a Cardio Version which did and has been alright since. I was given Apixaban and Bisoprolol as a pocket pill if I needed it but have not had to use it. On my next visit to my consultant he said my only way forward was ablation which I was surprised as in 65 years I have had no problems, but he is very insistent. I also have another health problem which is Blue Rubber Bleb Nevus Syndrome which is very rare my blood vessels are not formed properly in my body especially in my groin and thighs which I have told him, he has not seen any of these. I went to see my GP as I did not think this other health issue was taken on board and she said I could have bad bleeding and must impress this on him. So as you can see I am very worried about this and this week have had my appt. come through for October. I would appreciate your opinion on this matter as I do not want to make my BRBNS worse than what it is.
Many thanks in advance.
