Query re ecg differences

Just used my Kardia for first time today. Can't believe the difference between mine and my husband's results - his looks like I expect, mine is just weird. And both are labelled normal. Can anyone shed any light?

Did you hold it tight enough and see "great signal" on the phone display ?.

If you dont hold it tight or move during trace that can mess it up

Cheers

Yes, it did say great signal. It is so odd. Did it again this morning, heart felt good and steady so was expecting good result - it said unclassified! I'm worrying more with this thing, I think!

If the bottom one is yours,it looks like mine in hospital last week. Its Atrialflutter pattern, nothing to panicabout but i would get a proper ecg done.Flutter affects tge top right ventricle and can be fixed.

I really didnt find my kardia much use,but others do!

Have a lovely Christmas

Wouldn't that have a fast beat? Mine was only 77, and everything felt fine!

Though I haven't a kardia, I just use an app called cardiac diagnosis, your odd readings could be because your hands or fingers are cold or have poor blood flow giving weird readings? I know it can happen using fingertip pulse readers.

I don't think so, but thanks for the thought

Thank you for your reply. Does it matter that mine is negative? I've tried to look it up with Mr Google, but I'm looking at words that I can't make any meaning of! When the cardio did an ecg 2 years ago he noted: normal sinus rhythm with normal QRS duration and a rightward axis. I don't remember ever seeing one of my ecg's looking like they are now, I'm worried something has gone very wrong.

Not what you're looking for?
