Lower Back Pain

I had my laparoscopic hysterectomy March 1 and I've experienced some major pain at the beginning but now everything is cool. Well me laying in that bed has caused me some major lower back pain. I just want to know what I can do to make my back pain go away.

Hello kim37

I also had really bad lower back pain, I had mine on the 6th. Did your back pain go away now? I imagine you’re walking around more? I feel like mine was from laying down so much.. have you had any other problems? I feel like my belly button hurts sometimes...well hope all is better for you

I asked my doctor could I put a heating pad on it she said yes but but don't leave it on there for long time. By the end of the week my back pain was gone and I was able to get out my bed with no back pain. I'm on week 3 and I'm walking around more then I was on on week 2🙂. The only problem I have is belly button pain every now and then. Being that I don't have no help the only time my belly button hurts is when I'm up and doing something around the house or I moved the wrong way laying. But my pain didn't last that long. I did some research on abdominal binder and I wish I would have thought about it before my surgery. That would have helped me a great deal while I'm going through my healing process.....If there's anything you want to know feel free to ask. I hope your feeling better.

I did the binder and the healing pad too, I really think it was from just being on it for so long and my mattress is not the best either so... I notice my bellybutton hurting when I try to do too much, my doctor tells me to make sure to rest as soon as I feel any discomfort to avoid ending up with a hernia. I’m used to doing Zumba 5 days a week so having to take it easy is a real struggle for me. My main discomfort right now is itching which I’m guessing it might be from an allergic reaction? Not sure, I actually posted a picture here when I asked if anybody else had a reaction like this...

I had an allergic reaction also I think for me that was the hardest part cause it was all over my stomach. It didn't let up til about my forth week so now I have marks all on my stomach. My doctor told me to take Benadryl to help with it but I also took showers to help it also. Get plenty of rest.
