Hysterectomy

I am waiting to have a laparoscopic hysterectomy. I live alone and just wondered how long I will have to have someone with me afterwards when I get home. I know I will have to take it easy I will have everything ready before the op. But will I actually need someone to be there 24/7 Thanks in advance

Hi Gamer girl you will need someone with you for at least two weeks. But it is dependent on your recovery.

When you have your pre assessment I would ask them this question. As is still major surgery
