Hi ladies I'm 7 days post op total lap hysterectomy keeping ovaries I've been feeling great up walking discharged 2 days post op stopped pain meds when I was at hospital but for the last 2 days my eyes have felt like sand paper???

Very odd. I wouldn't imagine the two are related. If you had had your ovaries removed then possibly that might affect the moisture and secretions in your eyes as hormonal changes affect all sorts of things but I can't see why having your uterus removed would cause any change. I hope it resolves soon. If not a trip to the optician and see what they suggest. Make sure you are taking it easy and resting loads. Being over tired won't help your eyes. xx

Thankyou so much and yeah I'm hoping it's something simple but it's definately not helping the anxiety ..!

The painful eyes are dry eyes ...? Although I keep ovaries but they took tubes hormones out of wake so eye drops daily
