Should I get my little finger left hand amputated?

I had a schwannoma/benign tumour [Schwannomatosis NF3] removed on my left elbow in 2012, which affected the use of my two outer fingers of my left hand, slowly the smallest finger has been loosing sensation, now permanently numb, even catching on things, I caught it on a metal tape, cutting it to the bone circa seven years ago. Especially hot weather, annoyingly permanently numb at present! If I had it amputated would I still get some sort of 'ghost feeling' in the prospective stump? After 11 years I do not believe there will be any dramatic improvement in it! I suffer from , Genetic Osteoarthritis, Osteoporosis, which might be important? I am right handed. Anybody in a similar situation from finger amputation?
