osteoarthritis and hot weather then rain on the way!

I have osteoarthritis [genetic] after all this hot weather, the cirrus clouds, weather forecast, rain coming, but the pain in my knees have really flared up, sitting here with my legs up, any idea of pain relief, usually I use a magnesium spray around the knee caps, but I need something a bit more drastic this time! Any suggestions?

Curcumin is what works for me. Works better than NSAIDs. If interested, you need to use a bioavailable formulation. Plain turmeric does not work as well.

Thanks Hunter, definitely keep that in mind, my uncle and brother had their kneecaps done a while ago, I know I'm next in line, but ALWAYS ready to listen for some natural alternatives!👍 Weather conditions as at present, the hot before the storm are 'ideal' for this condition🥴

O have also had hyaluronic acid injections in both knees. It makes a Huge difference. Much better than surgery.

Synvisc, Monovisc and the other option are really great when you have deteriorating knees. With repeat injections as needed, I hope to be able to put off knee surgery for quite some time.
