I currently have broken rib and while 'fixing' it I trapped a nerve in my right shoulder!

Both old 'wounds' rib 2017 and scapula 2011, treatment; strap up rib cage and work out nerve from shoulder? Right hand going numb, affecting right arm! Old rib wound, third one up on right side, bloody annoying! Has happened before not both together, very hard writing this? Will be out of 'circulation' for 3 or 4 days! Any suggestion for somehow fixing this permanently? Metal strapping?
