Tonight for dinner, we had tuna melts with 2 slices of Cheddar cheese, hummus and Gluten Free bread. For dessert, we had Lemon Meringue Greek yogurt. The entire meal was delicious and had 47 total carbs..

This looks lovely, although I could not have it, being intolerant of chick peas. How do you count the carbs, Activity? Are there different counting schemes in the US and GB?

I write down everything I have to eat and next to each item, I write the total amount of carbs in all of them. After everything is written down, I add the totals and get the grand total amount of carbs for the entire meal/snack. Hope this helps.

Not really. How do you in the US calculate the number of carbs? Does the system in the UK differ?

You copy what each container/package says for total carbs.. Take the totals and add them up. Not sure if it’s different in the USA.
