National Waffle Week begins on September 4th and ends on September 10th. Here's some information that was posted on nationaltoday.com dealing with some of the ways to celebrate the week. nationaltoday.com/national-...

Every Sunday at lunch, I personally have two waffles with peanut butter and a Greek yogurt on the side. Sometimes, I may add cocoa covered almonds and other foods that have protein in them. The waffles in the picture are gluten free and the peanut butter is crunchy. This is one of my favorite weekend items to have for lunch.

We make gluten free waffles at least once a month. Eat some and freeze the rest. I like to heat up fresh strawberries and blueberries, a little dash of water and a sprinkle of Swerve (sugar substitute). Top with a little real maple syrup. Yum.

That sounds like a very delicious way to have waffles. We have waffles every Sunday for lunch. It was a new idea a few months ago and we've kept it up every week so far. Only time we hadn't had waffles was when we needed to get more to stock up on from the store nearby.

I know folks like waffles with fried chicken but I haven't tried those together. Very rarely eat "fried" chicken

Do you add cornflakes to make homemade 'fried' chicken? The cornflakes are healthier and also gluten free. That's how we do it at home for a dinner option. Will see if we can try the cornflakes with chicken for waffles in a few weeks (need to buy both ingredients). :-)

Yes, I've baked chicken with corn flakes. Even better for me is Gluten Free Bread Crumbs which resembles Panko bread crumbs. Both area great.
