What's for Breakfast?

healthyeatinglegend profile image

I have access to blackberries, blueberries, strawberries, passionfruit and apples, in my garden. So ... breakfast was all of these, topped with dry roasted seeds, nuts and grains.

Delicious.

Change the access you have to healthy options and you'll get healthy too.

Sounds wonderful, not a leaf on any of my fruit bushes or trees here in the Cotswolds!

Wow - they look interesting

I eat wild blueberries every day. Sometimes I make a blueberry tea simply by adding lemon juice, blueberries and hot water to my favorite mug. Hot water and lemon is a good way to start the morning so I thought why not add blueberries?

ooh I'm going to try that 😋 thanks for the idea Hidden

You are welcome, healthyeatinglegend. I sometimes add a berry blend that I buy in the frozen food section.

I don't do breakfast, my first meal is brunch about 12. Today it's a two egg omelette with mushroom, onion and a diced up rasher of bacon, cooked in a knob of butter or small amount of olive oil.Sometimes it's soup, sometimes scrambled eggs on wholemeal toast etc

Whatever I do, I try to make it, less than 450 cals ISH.
