Healthy eating fresh fruit
You only have a baby tree here so it will be a while before you get much fruit. Gooseberries grew well for us on our allotment but the one I put in the garden did nothing. After three years I dug it out. They like sunshine but aren't fussy with soil. I did fertilise mine after fruiting. Hope this helps.
Do you mean godberry or is that a typo. In case you mean gooseberry be aware of gooseberry sawfly. I don't know whether it's prevalent in your area but if it is the catteriplars can strip a bush of leaves in a day or two. There are treatments online like a garlic based spray and others.
Yes gooseberry!! I am planning to grow in pots to avoid caterpillars and slugs. They sold them quiet cheaply but hard to get hold of as they sell out. How long before they fruit?
What did you plant?, you must eat five a day easily, your lucky please send a pic ,
ps I have some pumpkin seed scooped from a real pumpkin the gardening club plot is too shady and small, so I am going to dry them out, for future plots.
Do prince crown pumpkins grow in Thailand? Great in soup, the nutrition I need to research.
Happy planting!
