Kefir with raspberries and flaked almonds.

Hi everyone,

Here’s a nice healthy snack a bowl of raspberries covered in kefir with flaked almonds. The raspberries are English the kefir is organic cows milk. Live yoghurt and kefir are a source of probiotics so is worth having after a course of anti biopics as they kill all the bacteria in our guts and we need to replenish them so eating yoghurt or kefir is a great way to restore the gut bacteria and a good way to help maintain it.

Here’s a link about kefir on the BBC Good food guide:

Ooh Hidden that looks so delicious 😋

I bought some raspberries today, and, Greek Yoghurt....I have not tried Kefir. I will put it onto my shopping list.

Great photo BTW 🤗

Hey thanks Shield-Maiden there’s lots of raspberries hiding under the kefir I think it’s tastes very similar to live yoghurt. So you enjoy your raspberries with Greek yoghurt as I know it will be delicious.

Lovely snack Jerry.

I’ve been drinking goat’s milk kefir for a few months now. It’s a live culture so can be very fizzy! Had to start with a small amount and then increase slowly. It seems to be helping with my IBS symptoms, which is great.

in reply toPenel

Hi Penny goats milk kefir sounds really good to me and fizzy makes it interesting. I'm glad that its helping with your IBS as thats very reassuring to know, so nice one.
