Hi everyone. Tonight, I had gluten free spaghetti and gluten free meatballs with tomato sauce, salad, dressing and fresh blueberries on the side for dessert. The meal was 89 total carbs.. Everything was really delicious and each person had 4 meatballs. ๐๐
What did you have for dinner tonight? ๐๐

"Grilled " Tilapia fillets home made fries (in light olive oil ) and broccoli florets.
Thank you, Koko! Unfortunately, I donโt have any leftovers from tonightโs dinner, but I have gluten free elbows/macaroni we can do for another pasta night.๐๐
I enjoy blueberries and fruit in general for certain desserts when itโs possible.๐๐๐ซ๐
Oh great you have GF elbows/macaroni to make another pasta night. ๐๐Fortunately, I have leftovers for lunch tomorrow so itโs gonna be an easy day. ๐
This sounds really good to me. I have had a BLT a few weeks ago when we celebrated Fatherโs Day.๐๐
Very tasty Leah! I'm not even going to share what I had for dinner last night. It has no place in a healthy eating forum!

I know what you mean ๐well at least there's bit goodness in beansprouts ๐prob more goodness in pixies biscuits ๐ธI made sandwhiches with it too on white bread ๐๐
I'm like that too. I sometimes have meals that can not be mentioned on HE as it would have no place on here ๐ But I was good yesterday and opted for healthier options ๐ I'm sure whatever it was you ate was most enjoyed ๐
Not really, but the way it is cooked is a little different. Some ingredients are a little softer than regular pastas. If you rewarm gluten free pasta, you want to not warm it up too much or it might have issues when taken out. We learned this a few years ago and the pasta was made with corn at the time. But, in general, I really enjoy it!
I'd say the taste differs vastly for me from regular pasta depending on the ingredient(s) used to make the gf pasta. Personally, I find the closest is brown rice pasta to regular. I made my friend taste a meal I made and she agreed as well.
One of my favourite pasta dishes is Pasta with pesto because it is cooked with Olive Oil, others are my mum & dads spag bols & vegetables with Pasta & tomato pasta sauce
I was good and had a salad sandwich for lunch filled with fresh tasty simple veggies. Tomatoes, Lettuce and carrots and cucumbers and pepper and Mayo ๐ฅ๐ ๐ฅ๐ฅฌ For my late evening meal I had a big bowl of fruits apples, avocado, grapes, bananas satsumers, and kiwis with some nuts and sun dried apricots ๐๐ฅ๐๐๐
Having taken my medication on Monday I'm very careful what I eat so go for light healthy meals that don't upset my stomach on Monday and Tuesday. I made a Baked beans curry for my family ( which they love with Chapatis or in toast or in a sandwich maker as toastie) I don't risk eating anything spicy on the day and the day after my meds. Will have something more enjoyable today.
Sorry for the late reply I'm always late in replying to post ๐ ๐ฅฐ
Your meal sounds great. Recently, we had done our own baked beans by using pinto beans, bar-b-que sauce and a little sugar all mixed together. This is done whenever we don't have baked beans premade. They're used when we have either hotdogs and/or burgers. Very good.
The sandwich and fruit salad sounds great for warm weather temperature days, too.
I bet home made baked beans are a lot healthier to eat as the sugar and salt content is higher in the shop bought ones. I do prefer fruit and veg on hotter days. Thanks you for sharing your delicious meal with us ๐
Yes. Also, it's nice and fast, too. The cheeses we used are 3 out of 4 favorites of mine. Cheddar, Swiss and Muenster was used today. The fourth favorite we don't have and that was Provolone.
