I am currently reading How Animals Saved My Life by Noel Fitzpatrick. I really am enjoying it. It is really tempting me to buy his first book Listening to the Animals Becoming the Supervet.. But I'm going to wait until I finish this book.
People like him deserve an award for doing so much good in the world not these celebrities. Paul o Grady is another one to for all he does for dogs.

I haven't read it Lotus-Blossom, but it sounds very interesting. Anyone that loves and helps animals in this way certainly does deserve recognition in my opinion too! π
πI really really like Paul O'Grady Lotus-Blossom! He's such a character, and, from all appearances, a very kind and caring man! Do you watch For the Love of Dogs?
I agree with you. You can tell that he is really genuine as you can tell that he is a very kind and caring man.
I do watch For the Love of Dogs. I enjoy it even though I get a bit upset as I get happy tears for the dogs who have now found a better home with people who will look after them.
I know! It can be completely heart wrenching to hear the absolute horror stories some of the little souls have had to endure, and both my OH and I are always in tears, and shouting out, I'll have him, I'll take her, but are then over the moon when they find their, hopefully, forever homes! Both our doggies were Rescues, and if we get another, it will be too. Dogs are SPECIAL!π xxx
What kind of dogs do you have?I have two Pomeranians one is golden (Male) Hugo who is 7 and my other one is black (female) Evee who is 6. I would get another dog if I could but I don't want to create a pack as that could lead to problems. xxx
Sorry, should have said, sadly we don't have any as our last little sweetheart passed a year ago, and I still cannot bring myself to get another as I miss her so terribly much, we all do! She was a strange mix of Doberman, Staffie or Rottweiler, but only medium size and was so sweet you wouldn't believe! And hardly barked! Before her we had a Border Collie. I love them all! Any breed, size, mix.Poms are adorable! My cousin has always had them.
Yep, maybe 2 is enough, you just never know how they would react to another! xxx
Sorry to hear that your dog passed away. You must have been sad. Remember though your dog gave you that unconditional love plus many happy memories you shared together. You made your dog very happy as there is no greater joy than that. I'm sure in time you will get another dog and give him / her the same experience you had with your other dog as he / she will give that pure unconditional love.
There is no greater love between an owner and there dog. xx
