GERD (heartburn) foods to avoid

It is recommended to avoid fried foods.

Question is - what really does that mean?

Is it the oil that's the problem? What if I fry eggs in a non-stick pan with no oil?

Any ideas please?

I use olive oil and coconut oil with no problems, however I did the unthinkable a month ago and had fish & chips with some friends, that will teach me, even before I got halfway through I could feel the tell tale signs

Hi my mam has it she can't eat without lanzaprozil she fries in oil lard is harder to digest and full of saturated fat we use cold pressed rapeseed oil it doesn't saturate at high temp, and is high in omega 3 and taisty avoid pastry late at night and eating stuff hard to digest like mushrooms unless you have really good teeth 😁fried eggs are hard to digest if the burn underneath

i have Gerd which has led to barrats, I can only eat poached or boiled eggs.

I grill or roast everything and have cut all cooking oils and fats out i have also had to cut out spices and processed foods you have to find what foods are your triggers and avoid them it just isn't worth the suffering.

I find that eating a banana first thing in a morning also helps me puts a lining on my stomach and helps with acid.
