I want to eat healthy without weighing food and counting calories
Hello
What do you eat now? This is some information on healthy eating nhs.uk/live-well/eat-well/.
You're in luck. Weighing food and counting calories is completely pointless
Choose the content of your meals correctly and your appetite will handle the quantities.
Eat vegetables, and add meat/eggs/dairy according to your taste. Don't cut the fat off things, and buy minimally-processed products with the natural amount of fat - eg., butter, Greek yoghurt, cream, full-fat milk, meat from animals that haven't had their diet manipulated to deliver an abnormally low fat layer.
Eat when you're hungry and stop when you're full.
Try not to base every meal on rice/bread/pasta/potatoes - opt for vegetables to replace them, and learn how to cook veg in interesting ways. If you're seriously overweight, I suggest avoiding these altogether for a few weeks. You can bring them back later in modest amounts.
Excellent advice from The Awful Toad. Make that way of eating your normal way of eating and not a “diet” that you come come off (and regain) and you will not have to count anything or pay anyone. You will also keep the weight off because it does work, there are many of us here and on the other forums that can attest to that.
Hi katt09 if you make healthy meal choices and cook from scratch then you know what you are eating and as long as you don't have excess sized portions a healthy balanced diet combined with adequate exercise is the way to go.
I haven't got a clue about calorific values of food and I don't need to and I think that by calorie counting can make us think about food too much.
Fasting is a fantastic way to get in tune with your bodies eating needs and by avoiding food for 14 hours or more speeds up the fat burning process and helps to establish new healthier eating patterns.

So good luck and I'd try and make healthy food choices in the first instance and you are well on your way to a healthy balanced diet for you. 😊
My tip would be to invest in smaller plates, 9" is the size everyone ate off (before nouvelle cuisine on huge plates 11-12" plates was invented!) Then do as The Awful Toad says, and eat a wide variety of fresh foods. I lost weight by counting calories, not avoiding any food group, just eating less of the beige stuff. I now maintain my weight eating a balanced healthy diet, just not too much! And treats should be kept for the very rare occasion, not very day. You can do this.
There are a lot of recipes online, most are low cal, there are loads of different sites. You have to explore the internet. Home made soups are very easy, omellettes, chicken, all very low calorie.
