Hi all

I came across this very interesting article, I'm always looking for healthier alternatives to sugar that aren't bad for you.

It's a long article but definitely worth the read.

you don't have maple syrup in the UK?

in reply to fib4

Yes we do and I use it a lot, what I liked about is the nil calories.

Thanks Alicia this is very useful especially for diabetics and those who want to lose weight. I have to confess that maple syrup is a favourite sweetener of mine. 🌈😊

Yiu are welcome Jerry and I agree very useful for diabetics. I'm with you re maple syrup, I love it, funny thing is though I didn't like if when I was younger.

That sounds good. anything rather than Aspartame! It's foul tasting stuff.

in reply to Midori

Couldn't agree more and Aspartame is bad for you as well

I bought some bottles of Bitter Lemon last week. they didn't have the regular, but I use it to ease cramp at night. It's vile. Tesco had better bring it back or I shall be most dis-chuffed.

It's horrible having that awful stuff in drinks. I'd rather have sugared drinks and less of it than chemicals.
