Here's what I had for dinner last night its a salad with mixed salad grated beetroot diced onion baby tomatoes new potatoes and nut luncheon.
This will be my last salad for a little while as I've decided to self isolate even though I don't have to but because I can and I'd rather rustle something else up than risk catching the dreaded virus. I feel safer and am keeping everyone else safer.
Healthy eating is so important as its our fuel so stay safe folks and eat well.
For those who want support with self isolation please see the HU community Positive wellbeing in self isolation you will get a warm welcome and lots of support please see:
Need to get salad planted Jerry! Ours all in, plus so many different varieties of beans. So looking forward to planting outside! The beans come through so quickly, I did three pots of runners on Monday and they are already poking their little heads up.
I know the trouble is the wild boar visit me so lots of veggies are out, fortunately they donβt like rhubarb so Iβve some rhubarb growing wild.
I am going to get some seeds and grow some in trough.
Good for you with the runner beans I envy you. π
Hey thatβs a good idea, families of wild boar come into town on raiding parties and a momma weighing up to 500lbs runs at a picket fence and they wipe out someoneβs veg patch in minutes, leaving a right mess...
I had a pile of broken fencing and gates when I moved here, so when I had it replaced give them their own entrance and they love it and donβt damage my fencing or the trees.
I love the look of your salad Jerry, where did you get the nut luncheon as it does look good as does everything else on the plate.

Thanks Alicia I buy it in my local whole food shop but have bought it at H&B's. It is also wonderful fried in slices...
