Dear Friends (makes a 'change', for everybody),

Today I went shopping, with my Mother- she Drove, I don't- and I 'Did' the Trolley Pushing and Carrying. It's a Good Arrangement, for us, and we 'Do' this often.

I decided, to make a Chilli-Con-Carne, today- I made it Gluten & Lactose free, again for my Mother. I will be 'Looking After' her, in a few weeks, after she has a small Operation. I used a Fresh Red Chilli, a 'fair bit' of Onion, a Pound of Meat, Two tins of Kidney Beans, a tin of Mixed Beans, some Bouillon Stock and, a few, other 'Bits'.

The Result is, actually very good, though, I Might, have to add 'a touch', more 'Heat'- Better 'That Way', than being Too HOT! Over all, a good, hour- and a half's- work.

(I'm Always, very careful, with the Chilli's I 'glove up', put them straight into, the pan. I then thoughly wash 'everything' down, putting the utensils- that have been washed- into the sink. I 'run' the sink, then re-wash the whole 'lot' again, before wiping down the cooker, surface, chopping boards et al- then putting ALL the paper towels, chopping's and so forth, into a Disposable plastic bag- which is then thrown away. By the way, this 'works' very well.)

So that was my Adventure, for today, no Valentine's Cards just a Good Meal.To all you, Beautiful, Lovely, Ladies- that's ALL of you- Happy Valentine's Day, Gorgeous Girls❤❤❤.

DON'T 'do', what I just did.... I added, just a little, Cheyanne pepper- ' to spice it up, a bit'- I dropped some, it went up my nose...… I can't stop Sneezing! Don't argue mascotty02, just Don't do this!

Haha, am sorry I laughed, just had mine and it was delicious, I never use cayenne pepper in chilli's

Dear mascotty02,

I don't 'Normally' add Cheyanne pepper either but, it was to hand, so I decided to use some. The Chilli WAS actually, extremely good- even if I 'say so' myself. I simply served it with, plain boiled, brown rice. I rounded, the meal off, with some strawberry yoghurt- Michael provided the coffee (and Jaffa Cakes too!).

All I've 'Got' now is.... Washing Up! (and a little 'maintenance' on my Push Along which, I use, as a trolley.)

My Mother had a recipe, I think from a Packet, for Paprika Beef Strips.... does anyone have this recipe please? Otherwise I'll just, have to, 'blag' it - dare I say 'as normal'.

Batten Down, the 'hatches', everyone and keep warm. Don't go 'out' if you can help it. (Grandma can feed, the cat, on 'something else' for a change- Old Tom can certainly , do without, his tobacco- Carol will, just have to, 'run out' of eye shadow- and Bob well....)

I love this dish making today. Hubby is out picking up items I do not have but always have dried red peppers which I cut across and fry to waken. Yes, do not touch! This gives your peppers a toasty flavor.other pepper can be added after these are roasted you can smell the roasting do not burn. Other peppers red and green can be soften along with onions and put in chili pot. I big on cilantro-fresh as a seasoning. Tons of garlic work for us in this house, I like cumin and cauane and a couple other peppers depends on our stomachs and how adventures us we are that day. Glad to see so many of us enjoy chili was 8 degree's this morning.
