Good food
Hi, Annie55n .
Breakfast is now traditionally cereal - which is refined carbohydrate and about the worst food you can eat.
A traditional cooked breakfast (without toast) can be keto or Low-Carbohydrate, High-Fat (LCHF).
On an Intermittent Fasting plan, you can miss breakfast - but I think it is better to eat breakfast and fast late - but this does not work if you eat in the evening with family.
I think avocado is good high-fat food - but aren't they very expensive?
I eat full-fat natural yoghurt, cereal-free (buckwheat) muesli and fruit. Fruit contains sugar - but we do need energy.

Hi Annie, here are some of my favourite breakfasts see if you like the sound of any of these:
When I’m at work:
Greek yoghurt ( I like the 5% Fage) and berries (strawberries/blueberries/raspberries fresh in the summer, frozen - thawed- at the moment) occasionally with other fruits.
Small portion of porridge with full cream milk and a spoonful of nut butter and berries as above.
Omelette roll (cook large thin omelette like a pancake then put the filling in the middle (usually cream cheese and leftover veg) and roll it up like a wrap so it’s easy to eat.
At home - usually starts with half a grapefruit, then:
Slice of Wholemeal Seeded toast with scrambled eggs and tomatoes
Toast as above with nut butter and warmed berries
Omelette with filling that doesn’t have to worry about being messy
Toast as above with mashed avocado
Scrambled eggs with peppers, tomatoes, cream cheese and chili
If it’s more brunch than breakfast I’ll have something like vegetarian sausages, eggs, tomatoes, spinach wilted with cream cheese, baked garlic mushrooms (brush with garlic butter).
