I listened to a great podcast recently and I really liked the line by the brain surgeon who was being interviewed. he said, “It’s not the indulgences that get us, it’s the habits.” As long as it’s not a regular event, enjoy. Guilt is a wasted emotion.
Hi AndrewT I hope that you enjoy your sausage rolls and your secret is safe with us...😊
I was bad yesterday, for the second time in two days the weather has forced me to cancel meeting a friend (I’ve made on HU quit support) who is visiting family on the south coast of England. Anyway, grumpy old me delved deep in the freezer and emerged with crinkle cut chips and scampi. Was I ashamed of my binge? Hell no, it was delicious.
Your secret is safe with us, I also indulged yesterday - I had fresh strawberries, vegan choco mousse and swedish glace (and not a small portion either) but as I say a little of what you like does you go and I will be getting on the treadmill today................... so no harm done
