Hi, just joined the group. Am looking to improve my diet generally. Since turning 50 i have improved my exercise levels significantly but am still struggling to lose much weight due to poor diet and a love of red wine! Any assistance would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I just turned 50. Starting cutting out sugar and carbs and it's done wonders. I lost a lot of weight since the beginning of the year, and I also have been enjoying intermittent fasting.

Hi and welcome to the group.😀👍

Has your doctor suggested that you change your diet/loose weight? Please consult your doctor before you make any changes to be on the safe side of things. No one wants anyone getting sick or worse.😀👍👍

Welcome, Kes Fan. I too am a Keswick fan. I went up Blencathera 3 times in one week. The view from Latrigg is spot on makes Keswick look like toy town. Keep trying Keswickfan.

Hi hobieone, nice to hear from you. Yes Keswick is my fav place on the planet! Been visiting now for last 34 yrs, done loads of diff walks and lattrigg is brilliant.

Hello Keswickfan, I am newly returned to the site after a couple of year gap and will turn 52 this year. Lots to lose in both weight and mindset, lol, and know that it’ll take some dedication to get a handle on both. I hope your journey is a smooth one hun, you’ve already made a fab decision joining this friendly forum. Good luck hunny 😊

Are you in a weigh-in group, already? I can recommend the one I am member of. It's the Sunday team. Today Marvel01 is hosting it. It's open from Saturday 9pm to Sunday 9pm BST.
