hiya, i have recently lost weight but have been signed off work due to health issues and have found my self eating a lot more again, i am trying to work out if its because of boredom or comfort eating, either way it i am eating my emotions and can do with some help or advice, i loved who i was a few weeks ago and now i'm scared i'm spiralling again. I've been at rock bottom and i cant afford to go back .

Could be a combination of both, if you are signed off from work you'll have more time on your hands, it's a tough call as you probably won't be burning as much energy off as well, all depends on what condition you are suffering with, maybe try going swimming, it's good for the cardiovascular and is non weight bearing, or if it's a condition where exercise is out of the question, perhaps reach for some fruit or something else that you've never tried before, I'm partial to an avocado, make meal times an experiment, use chicken or salmon, grab a cook book and look at meals that might tempt your taste buds, don't give yourself a hard time, you're bound to be fed up if you are off work, I'm sure you'll get yourself back on track, the human body is a built in multi gym, and you can do exercise at home without all the costs of a gym, hopefully you'll be back on track and you'll be feeling better within yourself, x

thank you, yeah exercise is tricky as had trouble with muscle spasm which is making me lose feeling in the bottom of my spine and my legs, but the doctor has given me some exercises to do which will help and wont be too painful, i'm struggling with the nutrition side of it and i'm not sure how to get back on track, any advice would really be appreciated. x
