Natural sugars can be found in other places, not just fruit.

I recently met someone low on energy, I wanted to suggest fruit but she said she is allergic. It was only fair I write a post about natural sugar placement. As you already know natural sugars give the body a boost to live through the day. Therefore, if fruits aren’t your thing like my friend, here are other ways to boost your energy.

Energy-Boosting Tips

Staying Hydrated,

Dehydration can have a noticeable effect if you lose as little as 2% of your body’s water content. Not enough water can lead to altered body temperature control, reduced motivation, increased fatigue and make exercise feel much more difficult. Therefore Dehydration can affect you both physically and mentally.

Limit Alcohol,

The human body isn’t meant to live off alcohol, it is meant to survive based on water. The body is made up of 60% of water. Keep in mind we lose water all the time by sweating, urinating and even breathing. Drinking alcohol is taking away from that 60%, drink more water to maintain that 60%. It is ok to have a drink here and there, but if you find yourself sleeping more, I would take drinking less alcohol into consideration.

Cut down on smoking cigarettes,

There’s a lot of science behind why smoking is the reason for low energy. We all know smoking is bad, It is one of the many things that are being pushed out of existence more and more as the years go by. smokers have a lower lung capacity than the non-smoker, less oxygen in the lungs means less oxygen in the rest of the body, which can cause low energy.

Workout,

Regular physical activity increases the blood flow to your body and improves your cardiovascular health and fitness. This will allow more blood and oxygen to get to the body providing energy to do work.

Avoid added sugar,

Added sugar can cause you to feel full and tired. If you feel tired at your day job, think about what you ate and drank for breakfast. For example, coffee with cream and sugar, possibly sugary cereal, or a baked good all have processed sugar. Research what you consume, you will be surprised how much-added sugar is in what you eat or drink.
