Sorry didn’t take pics but I’ve mostly ate protein today. Maybe my body just needed it since I’ve been skimping on it. I did eat some veggies though so don’t worry. I had parsnips with lunch and dinner.

It sounds good about the parsnips and other vegetables. What did you have that was the protein?

I try to add tuna or salmon to salads when I have them at home.

If I eat out I splurge and put broccoli slaw and ham pieces in my salad. Yummy. Sometimes I just order a grilled chicken salad

That’s good! I usually get something with lots of protein and very low carb. in the salad.

I love parsnips - I think they are absolutely delicious. Glad you enjoyed your meals today, and Chicken, Tuna and Parsnips - they all sound really yummy!

Parsnips and indeed all vegetables have lots of protein in them. If you ate just a good range of vegetables for an entire day you would still get all your recommended daily protein needs fully met. Did you know the body usually expels any excess protein out in urine. So possibly much of that went straight down the loo.

Thank you. I appreciate those facts. I love veggies. Today for lunch I had a plate of mushrooms for lunch.
