Hi everyone,

I think that that the more we understand about food and nutrition the better.

All the food that we eat is broken down into base amino acids, some our bodies make from the food we eat the remaining 9 are the essential amino acids that have to come from our food. So it's quite simple amino acids are our basic building blocks and the highest sources come from dairy milk eggs and soy protein.

Thanks Leah, I guess enzymes help produce glucose levels so that's interesting too. 😊

Enzymes help with digestion in the pancreas. So, if you’re not able to digest food, you have to see a doctor and be put on digestive enzymes in a pill for each meal and/or snack. Without the medication, certain foods will be just sitting in the stomach and can cause cramps/pain.
