It sounds like itโd be gross and I was very weary at first. BUT ITS UHHHHMAZING!! Tastes just like brownie batter really. Typically, I dip strawberries or cherries in it.

Yes chickpeas, sugar, sunflower oil, salt cocoa powder, aquafada, vanilla extract ..I think tahini and maple syrup.
I was only trying to point out that even though two table spoons is what they consider to be a serving, the percentage of that serving is very high in fat, sugars, carbs and calories.
I think it's just clever marketing..some cocoa powder and nice packaging.
Curious about โNisinโ, so looked up ( google.com/search?as_q=Nisi... ). Wikipedia ( en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nisin ) defines it as: "Nisin is a polycyclic antibacterial peptide produced by the bacterium Lactococcus lactis that is used as a food preservative. โฆ In the food industry, nisin is obtained from the culturing of L. lactis on natural substrates, such as milk or dextrose, and it is not chemically synthesized. It was originally isolated in the late 1930s, and produced since the 1950s as Nisaplin from naturally occurring sources by Aplin and Barrett in laboratories in Beaminster in Dorset, and approved as an additive for food use in the USA in the late 1960s, although the Beaminster factory now is owned by DuPont. โฆ Nisin is used in processed cheese, meats, beverages, etc. during production to extend shelf life by suppressing Gram-positive spoilage and pathogenic bacteria. โฆ " ๐ค ๐ญ

Hmm ๐ค๐ญ . . . Think some of us can ingest foods that includes each ingredient: chickpeas, sugar, sunflower oil ๐ป๐ง, cocoa, vanilla, salt ๐ง & Nisin (& some of us canโt.) [Chocolate๐ซ , after all, is the base of the food pyramid ๐บ . . . ๐ โบ๏ธ (at least in my book ๐ โ not necessarily day-to-day practical living โบ๏ธ ๐ ๐ ). And, hummus IS the very next layer of the food pyramid ๐บ! . . . ๐ The 2 combined ๐ has to be a winning combination!! ๐ ๐ค ]
Thank you for sharing this new โhealthy dessertโ idea, ๐ซ ๐ต Business! โบ๏ธ ๐ ๐ ๐บ ๐

[If making homemade ๐จโ๐ณ hummus , maybe we can experiment ๐ฉโ๐ฌ with adding cocoa powder (and/or carob powder), vanilla, & maybe some type of sweetener (like a date sugar/ paste, honey, maple syrupโฆ & leaving out ingredients we canโt safely ingest? ๐ค ๐ญ . . . . . . ๐ ๐ ๐ ]
