Just a little curious, but what’s the best food to eat right after prostate surgery?

Food After Surgery
I would be going for fresh fruit esp blueberries and juices. The juices should br freshly made with lots of dark leafy greens in them and a sprinkling of chia seeds. This is highly, and I mean highly nutricious yet easy to digest. Have these 3 times a day and you will feel full and be bursting with life in no time.
Great advice! I'm heading to whole foods right now and will be giving chia seeds a try. What is your take on herbal supplements?
As a diet heads more towards a the healthy end of a whole food pland based diet and value of supplements becomes lost. There may be some that are worth taking short term to help address specific issues, but long term not needed. Main focus should be a healthy gut biome, and that means greens and legumes because of their pre-biotic qualities. The latter have the ability to slow absorbtion of sugars from fruit etc giving your body a steady energy flow through the day, every day.
Hi antonyq, firstly good luck to you and I'd eat fresh fruit and veg and avoid processed foods and try to keep a positive mind set. 🙏
Thank you, Jerry. I am just saying your reply. I agree with processed foods. I no longer touch that. I do indulge in organic dairy-free ice cream from time to time and follow for the most part a pescatarian diet with occasional fetta cheese. I'm not a vegan, but I have completely eliminated red meat and chicken as well as processed foods from my diet.
There are a fabulous range of vegan ice-creams these days, heavenly is one brand. Also check this out for vegan feta dreenaburton.com/vegan-feta/
Hi antonyq, I'm not a vegan I'm a coeliac who advocates a whole food diet and I avoid lots of cows dairy as its hard to digest.
Cows milk molecules are 200x larger than human milk and thus hard to digest compared to goats milk and cheese as goats milk molecules are the same size as human milk and thus easier to absorb.
So to me whats important is you make healthy eating choices and more importantly choices that you enjoy.
