Hiya. I have just joined today and motivated to loose weight and eat better. I feel a bit overwhelmed in trying to plan weekly meals that my kids can enjoy too. Can anyone give me an idea for breakfast lunch and dinner. Kids are busy so don't have too much time to prepare fresh meals every day. Thanx x

Hello & welcome, I’m fairly new on here too, but finding it really helpful & supportive. I need to lose weight, but also just want to eat better. I’m trying to improve my fitness through C25K alongside this. My new favourite breakfast is overnight oats. Pretty easy. I use gluten free oats as I’m coeliac bug any oats would do. You don’t add as much liquid as for hot porridge - about 1.5 the amount of oats. I use almond milk, but cows milk works fine. I add splash of maple syrup, spoon of peanut butter - mix it up & leave in fridge overnight. I’ll add fruit, fresh or frozen in the morning. I tend to batch cook st w’ends - curry, goulash, soup & freeze for the week. Stir frys are pretty quick, healthy & nutritious.
