We have the facility for polls and I would like to invite ideas from members. I heard Rachel Burden on the BBC ask which would you find hardest to give up for a month, meat, alcohol or sugar and Rachel felt it was sugar (in chocolate).
What I think would be interesting would be what would you find hardest to give up for a month and what would you most like to give up for a month and I'd be happy to have 2 polls on this back to back.
But you're the members so here's your chance for an input and the polls on HU give 8 options
Here's 2 from the past to give an idea of content:
So its up to you and I will happily set up polls based on your feedback.
And remember this forum is for you the member so you create the agenda, I feel we should happily embrace exercise and well being. What I like is this forum is about positive eating so generates a positive attitude. 😊

i thinks tea without a little bit of sugar would be impossible to drink for me.. on food it would be durian...
Just admiring your lovely photo of all those great vegetables and fruits - a colourful array!!!
I shall look out for your Polls, and I just wanted to say that I especially like the combination of Healthy Eating and Exercise - that is such a great combination - and the effect on health and well-being of paying attention to each can be really positive.
Fantastic that you are an Admin in the Healthy Eating Community.
It is English Breakfast Tea for me, I have it with Soya Milk, but with so many reports of soya being bad, I want to give it up, but still havent managed to
I have the same problem as I like soy cream sometimes, I feel in moderation and avoid the GM ones. And Soya milk will go on the poll so thanks for the suggestion 😊
Hi Jerry. I know this is way late but for me it would be sugar. I am truly addicted. I can't drink tea without honey or sugar. I even eat sandwiches with honey ham and honey mustard. Last night I found myself eating TUMS because they tasted like candy.
I don't know how I'm going to live the rest of my life without sugar and salt, but they are killing me.
Hi there I think you need to try and see food differently so it’s your fuel as once you start to eat better and combine that with exercise you can discover a new you, it’s literally taking the first step.
This would make a very good question as I know that you would get lots of ideas.
So good luck with this and you know that you want to change your eating habits so now need to try and eat healthier everyday combined with suitable exercise.
I've already started. In fact I eat fairly healthy food most of the time. I prep and cook my own food rather than eat processed foods. I love veggies. I even make my own chicken soup. 😁 I stopped buying sodas and stopped making bread. If only I could stay away from sweets and carbs. (sigh)
