Whipped coconut cream for a healthy treat, paleo too.

Hi folks,

Many members are probably trying to cut down on calories but still want treats and ones that are healthy, so here's some whipped coconut cream made by whisking coconut milk in a blender and it goes from being milky to creamy after a few minutes. This is lactose free, paleo, vegan and its healthy...😊 And you can flavour it with many things.

coconut cream is very healthy and I don't need to add sugar and just have it with fruit or any desert. As raspberries are a little sharp I'll use a little honey and here's a pot of organic Acacia honey which's a very healthy honey and one that is suitable for diabetics. It is also supposed to help those on a diet:

So to me this ticks lots of boxes and I want to show how easy it is to make from a tin of coconut milk…you can see how thick and creamy it is.

And I will tell those who want to lose weight something, its not that I eat food like this that keeps me slim, its the foods that I never eat...

Jerry 😊

Thanks Mel and thats because you've got good taste 😊

Ooh Jerry, that looks so yummy and I never thought about whipping up coconut milk, what a fab idea. I have to say the tin of coconut milk I used a couple of days ago for my curry was really thick.

This is definitely something I will be copying so thank you for sharing.

Alicia :)

Is there a way to make the recipe without acacia added in?

in reply to Activity2004

Hi Leah, I just showed the Acacia as an example of a sweetener, some people add a little sugar, I'm happy with it like this and use honey to sweeten fruit like raspberries. 😊
