We have been warned time and time again how bad coffee is for us... this is evidently not true.😳🤗

Thank you for asking. After a terrible 1,5 years without coffee on the AIP diet I've finally started to listen to what my body is craving, coffee was definitely one of the things. Now my morning and afternoon coffees make my day🤗

I drink coffee mostly at my job in the mornings when we have Coffee and Board Games from 10-11 am each day. If the Seniors see me drink, then it gets them up and ready to get their own cup!

I have a huge one every morning, occasionally two. I'll have decaf for the second one, or later in the day, though this also has health benefits. :)

I take it that everyone drinking coffee is taking it black, just water ? no milk sugar cream etc ?

I am a bit of a sceptic even with reports from bmj. The source of these studies can often be influenced by the industry. Moderation is always the key and enjoy what you are drinking.

The article suggests more likely to have health benefits. The conclusion leaves doubt and it states that certain people should not drink it.

The BMJ was a meta study and posted warnings. When I saw the conclusion on fractures for women that set alarm bells ringing. Given that there is such a sedentary lifestyle now, drinking caffeinated drinks may cause problems in the long term. As I said, drink within moderation and enjoy it. Just be careful about excess consumption.

In relation to heart issues are we supposed to be drinking decaffeinated coffee .. or not? Also I find all this researching so unreliable as every month something that was good for us before is now apparently doing us no good at all. Into

The benefits of coffee have a solid scientific background. If coffee gives too much stimulation you should always drink it with sugar. This in fact is always recommended even for those without problems. This is a way to prevent adrenalin from spiking.
