Thank you for your advice, I will certainly try and weave some of those ideas into my menu plans.
Hi, I have been diagnosed with intolerance to high fibre foods and avoid eating fibre where I can. I did ask to see a senior dietitian, who put me on the fodmap diet to confirm the intolerance. Do that first to find out what you are rally intolerant to and then work from there. There will be diet sheets on the Internet for people who are wheat intolerant. Good luck.
You might also try looking at dietdoctor.com. This is a site that has all kinds of information about a low carb high fat diet and lots of recipes. Of course like another poster suggested, there are other carb alternatives available other than wheat, but you might find some recipes and meal plans that you can get along with there.
Many thanks for the good advice - keep it coming!
Have you tried gluten-free bread? Udi's is the best brand to use for bread in my own opinion. Do you get cramps, bloating, etc. every time you eat something with wheat in it? I get horrible cramps that make it hard to move when I have wheat. I had to put myself on a gluten-free diet due to that exact reason. Hope to hear from you soon.
