Hi, I've just joined healthy eating. I'm 38, weigh 72.5 kgs and am a stay at home mum with 2 children aged 3 and 6. I'm hoping to lose some weight and have been counting calories for a few years, on and off. I think the reason is hasn't worked is that I've been looking at food as a number and not the nutritional value. For example, I could eat breakfast and not feel satisfied. I would then feel hungry soon after and binge eat. I've joined now and am hoping to learn more about what I'm actually eating and incorporate healthy and nutritional food into my meals and make some positive changes.

Hello Spice1709
Welcome
Its said that we should count Nutrients instead of Calories
Have a variety of food
Different colorful vegetables, fruits, fish, eggs, meat, some fermented foods etc etc
Have a good dose of healthy fats as it provides fat soluble vitamins
Have home cooked meals which is a big issue the world over as we tend to go for packaged stuff instead...
All the best..
