Hi Bonni1
It's me again. I know how you feel. I work as a cleaner, but I'm off work just now, long term sick due to chronic stress. It's a long mad story that I wont get into just now. But, years ago I worked for a landlord cleaning multiple occupancy flats. Now I know why you drink so much! It was nuts. The behaviour of some of the tenants was insane. Some of them were genuinely led out the flats in handcuffs and off to the psychiatric ward. I had to stop telling people about what was going on because they didn't believe me. It was like doing a psychology course. It was still one of the best things I've ever done with my life as I learnt so much about people. The main thing I learned was that I would never be a landlord. Too much trouble, and too much stress. The landlord himself was apparently a nice guy in earlier years, but turned into a raving psycho. I think you have found the solution by selling the house, also, good for you for sticking with Horlicks! Please feel free to reply as the last five months have made me a bit of an expert on stress. I feel your pain, I genuinely do. And remember, what doesn't kill you makes you stronger. Be brave, be strong and you will live long.
Thank you. I know exactly what you're going through, But don't pass the wine, pass the Horlicks. What your brother and partner did to the house happened all the time with my employer. It is possible though to get good tenants and when you do you'll be blown away by the difference! But please, please try and fight the first drink. I know how hard it is, but if you can you'll feel much better in the morning and be able to deal more easily with your work. less stress and anxiety.
Sorry guys, but this Horlicks stuff sounds nasty. But if I quit using beer or wine to sleep, guess I should be looking for something else.
I've dropped the drinking because it may be a factor in my asthma...yeast and sugar, and even though it's only been two weeks I'm already hardly using any medication. I believe all together this diet is working!
