That's just what we need Those are the words we need to hang on to.
We can push through this. We can find peace. I have made huge progress and I want those struggling to know it is possible to find peace and happiness if we work at it.
I still have set backs. It will be a lifelong battle for me.
We got this! Don't give up

Thanks for those words, Dolphin! I am struggling right this minute after having several really good weeks. I am tired. I just took 1/2 a Xanax which I rarely do. I also feel physically ill. I am scared. ( That's anxiety). I feel like I am a very little, helpless person. And I feel like a failure right now. Like I am letting my children down.
This is a very difficult journey.

I'm happy to read you did have had some good weeks. I bet that felt great!
My therapist uses a staircase as an example of our ups and downs. You have now slipped a bit on the stairs.
When I get discouraged about a slip she reminds me of the stairs. She says you will make it through this and climb those stairs again.
I'm so sorry you are struggling now. Anxiety takes such a toll and our minds can bring us down by filling us with negative thoughts.
You are a good Mom and a good person. You have made forward progress and you will get through this difficult time. Be kind and gentle with yourself right now. Use what ever you have in your tool box so you can begin to climb those stairs again.
