Hi sister1,

Thank you for your post and very sorry to hear of the situation with your brother. Our thoughts are with you all at this difficult time.

There are a limited number of specialist units who will accept patients on ventilation as you know. We can certainly look into this for you, but we may need to discuss the situation in a bit more detail to help find a suitable unit.

If you could contact our helpline on freephone 0808 800 2244 or helpline@headway.org.uk we can discuss this properly and do a bit of research for you.

Hope to hear from you soon,

Best wishes,

Headway.
