Hi everyone,

Did you know, the Headway Annual Awards is taking place again in December? We have been busy collating nominations and have been inspired by a huge variety of stories.

We just wanted to let you know that the deadline for nominating someone for this year’s Awards is Monday 22nd July.

Do you know someone who deserves to be recognised, perhaps as a Carer of the Year?

This award, sponsored by Hugh James Solicitors, celebrates the incredible dedication and devotion of those who care for people with a brain injury.

The other categories include:

The Alex Richardson Achiever of the Year Award, sponsored by Slater and Gordon

The Volunteer of the Year Award, sponsored by Anthony Gold Solicitors

The Stephen McAleese Outstanding Contribution to Headway Award, sponsored by No5 Barristers Chambers

The Extra Mile Award for Headway staff (NEW), sponsored by Irwin Mitchell

What are the Headway Awards?

The awards celebrate the outstanding achievements and extraordinary dedication of brain injury survivors, carers, staff and volunteers from across the UK. Not only that, but the awards provide a great opportunity to raise awareness of brain injury and the help that is available via Headway services across the UK.

How do I nominate someone?

Nominating someone for one of these awards is simple. Just go to our awards webpage and click on the appropriate link.

Do get in touch with the communications team – CommunicationsTeam@Headway.org.uk – if you have any questions.
