Intractable migraine for two and a half years following a blow to the back of my neck and a year later, a car crash… tried Botox, Ajovy, now on Vydura and still no relief…nerve blocks. Question: pain is too much to sleep at night and I’m really struggling mentally and physically… any thoughts on how to sleep through the migraine? Oh, and triptans don’t work! Is this the end of the road?
Thanks….

Do you have regular MRI scan of your neck, or have you any damage to your cervical spine from your accident, im not saying it is but issues with the cervical spine can also cause migraine, it also might be worth talking to your gp about trying some muscle relaxants for a while, muscle spasms in the neck could also be contributing to your migraines. I have neck issues since my TBI and I now have a condition called cervical myelopathy (spinal cord compression in the neck) . But there are lots of other causes of migraine as well. It may well be worth getting a MRI scan if you can, even if it's just too rule out any problems with your neck
