hello all,I know i havnt posted for a while, hope you all well.As most of you know i made formal complaint about last care home to c.q.c.this was end of may and nothing yet,nor from the care home company other than an acknowledgement when i threatned legal action and informed them they were in breach of law as to lack of response to statements of c.h.c meeting.I informed this company that we reserve the right to use media/social media platforms to highlight the many issues raised by legal and formal complaints we had.I am savvy enough to understand i only have one chance at this,so keep my information to myself at this point.I will not forget the year my son spent at this place,or all that happened there...
On a lighter note, sean is well and thriving.the powers that be with all of this education/training decided that he has "capacity"after all...(go figure?)he has been accepted for operation to release the tendons in left foot, not sure of course when this will happen? He is very strong on every level and says he will walk again,i would never doubt him.last week halloween decorations went up in "his lounge".I had put skelton on chair with his coat and west ham hat, said to him look at that fella waiting for yr team to win something!he howled laughing. He is quite the horror, very demanding, but also very grateful when someone helps him, always polite.I worry that he upsets other residents with his boisterous behaviour, but the staff seem to like him,and he in turn likes them.we have a laugh together now, hadnt realised how much i missed that...

The skeleton who apparently died waiting for W.Ham to win is pretty ingenious .....and hilarious ! No wonder Sean howled... 🤣😆 He sounds a lovely soul ; like his mum I guess.
And your tenacity in keeping up the stand against his previous poor care is awe inspiring !
You're the whole package D ; Sean's mum / advocate / protector......(etc)..
hey you!im fine my freind, had latest covid jab on sunday usual but my arm is red and itchy, thats never happened before...i will be ok.swear eileen this guy is amazing so proud of him.in my moody times i think about the total wasted year he spent, can really vex me but my and seans voices will be heard, will make sure of it regardless of what i know will be a favourable c.q.c report regarding this care home.the truth is that all failed him including the people who were supposed to be on his team.i still think they reckon im going to go away if they keep on ignoring me?i try not to mention this place to sean,he gets so mad.we do have a laugh now, everybody knows him,we chat with other family members, always surprises me when someone i dont know will come into the lounge and say hi sean and have conversation,he explains who they are,all good.socks was next door yesterday being "spooky"with freinds kids.they had gone out for trickntreat, socks had a scull and crossbones onesie, but got scared and wouldnd go with them, wanted to come home.i havnt said anything but they gave him sweets, chocs etc and he was really sick!im saying your fault,he looking at me as if to say,no mam its yours!that said,he managed his liver/gravy for lunch!take care my dear freind and know im still strongxxx
Yes, had my Covid jab a week ago ; no side effects for me other than stiff shoulder for a day or two. Hope yours settles down soon m'love...
Anyone who thinks you'll just 'Go away' regarding Sean's poor care has another think coming🥴! I just hope the case is over & done with in his favour before Christmas..
Oh poor Socks🥺! I'm not sure it's anyone's fault ; just a case of the kids' affection for him and his own sweet tooth. Good to hear he's over the worst now. Give him a big hug from me.
Freezing cold here tonight ; storm 'Ciaran' is just making itself known.
Hi D, was worried we hadn’t heard anything from you for a while, so relieved to hear Sean is settled and doing so well, it must be a relief for you with every thing he has been through. There is a mindset in our military of determination, when they set their minds to something they will succeed, so when Sean says he will walk have faith he will, or he will certainly give it his very best. I am glad he gets on well with the staff after previous experiences it would be very easy for him to be awkward , aggressive and uncooperative, so it says a lot about him as a man, and you as his mam and upbringing. As for waiting for a West Ham win, feel a bit like that with my team united, never mind at least we can laugh take care my friend, love Alice xx
hey alice howya doing?hope you are all well...still no joy with these idiots running around trying to put together explaination regarding everything in last dump.thats ok,they can avoid, ignore as much as they want, they have no control over what i say or do?ive done some stuff too...i dont mention that place to sean,he gets real mad, says when able he is going to walk into that place and see that manager..wants her to know what she did.part of me wants to see this, but obviously better for all if she not there..lets just hope that the c.q.c investigation matches the statements i have from staff members..i can say no more.alice ,sean is so much happier, the change is,well i cant tell you.thanks for your msg, please keep in touch and let me know all your news.xxx
Well D, you will have one very happy son this evening after West Ham thrashed arsenal 3 0 , i on the other hand am still waiting for my team to win s we lose to Newcastle . I have just been for my two year scan,to see what my aneurysm is doing, on my last one I had a blood clot blocking the base and it had started to shrink, so I am hoping that has continued because he only gave me up to five years and that was five years ago, and I’m still here , so fingers crossed. Anyway off to bed , love Alice xx
