Hi everyone. I am experiencing this buzzing electric current feeling moments when I'm about to fully wake up. I'm always conscious of my surroundings but once this feeling starts, I feel like I being pulled into something and I hear some weird noises in my ears while my heart beating too fast. The moment I open my eyes and get off from bed, it all goes away. I would love to know more about that. This always scares me that maybe something is going to happen to me.
Thanks.

Hi Davis. This sounds all too familiar to me. Many years ago I was at home, lying on the floor reading, and I asked my son to look if there was a heavy vehicle in the road with its motor running.
I was feeling vibration all through my body together with an accompanying 'rushing' sound in my head.
There was no heavy goods vehicle but it felt pretty intense and I insisted there must be some other external cause, but son & daughter assured me all was quiet.
After various tests to rule out MS, meds issues or other possibilities, I was referred to a psychiatrist who immediately diagnosed the symptoms as stress related tremors.
Apparently vibrating/buzzing sensations on or inside the body is a classic symptom of anxiety and caused by stress hormones flooding the nervous system to prepare us for whatever's causing the stress. So it's a vicious cycle, broken for me by medication.
Ask your doctor to arrange for tests which he/she sees as appropriate in your particular case.
Can you tell us the nature of your brain injury and whether it bears any relation to these recent symptoms...
Thanks for your reply Cat. Apparently I have know brain or head injury. These sensations only happen as I am waking up from sleep. It has never happened to me while I'm wide awake.I have gotten medical tests arranged for me. But I don't think it's a medical issue because deep inside me I feel healthy and the fact that these vibrations stop immediately I open my eyes still confuse me and make me wonder what exactly was happening to me.
It's good to hear you feel healthy Davis, but blips in our nervous system are often down to unresolved trauma. I'm not delving too much into psychological issues but sometimes our nervous systems can overreact to stress, worry or overwork.
The fact that it hits on waking from sleep suggests a psychological link ; like the gut churning we get from remembering some half-forgotten trauma ?
I felt fine health-wise when I started 'buzzing' but, on reflection, it coincided with grieving after my mum's passing.
Let us know what your upcoming tests show ; I'll be interested... x
I get the same feeling of buzzing or feeling of light electric current on my left side. It starts for no reason, while i am just sitting , or lying down.I would be very interested if you find out what it is.
As strange as it sounds, this is due to planetary ascension. The molecular properties of our bodies are changing. Yes, it sounds VERY STRANGE and most doctors are not aware of the current changes going on around the planet
I've been having these sensations for years now and have been researching why. Hypnotherapist Dolores Cannon wrote about this in her book, The Three Waves of Volunteers. She also had videos on YouTube by the same title.
