After a long time trying to be ‘normal’ and not accepting some of his issues relate to a TBI many years ago, my son has decided he would like to meet with a counsellor / therapist/ psychologist to help him move forward.
Does anyone know of a counsellor/ therapist working in Yorkshire who specialises or has an understanding of the subtle effects of TBI who could give him support?

highly suggest that you contact your local headway for brain injury trained counsellors.even after doing so I was appalled with one such person in the list who was clearly out to exploit me(us).
I think Headway are the ones who know about therapists specialising in TBI. I used to have a Neuropsychologist but now have a psychotherapist who doesn’t specialise but is very good. If you search online, you might be able to find someone who specialises but, personally, my first stop would be Headway.
I do hope that both your son, and you yourself, will find the help you need.
