Hi all so it was my partner’s birthday the other week and as he’s in hospital I thought what can I get him,so I found a company that printed faces onto dolls and thought that would be a funny gift. Well it turns out this funny gift has been a god send so when I’m not able to visit Andy he has my mini me to cuddle and look out and the nurses have said it’s amazing and how he loves it he sleeps with it and doesn’t let it out of his sight,it’s become a big comfort to him especially as he’s just been moved to a rehab centre and aren’t allowing visitors due to covid at least he has this to cuddle at night 😊

Yes but you gave it to your partner, not yourself which is what I meant by the "ego" thing. It was supposed to be light hearted remark and, for what it's worth I think it was a lovely idea. Apologies for any misunderstanding.
