I couldn't comment on the commonality of this occuring, but depending on the original causation, further remedial procedures may be required. Certain conditions can increase risk, but like many issues concerning the inner workings of the body, sometimes there is no rhyme or reason.

Wishing you well.

I would think that if it was just one vein they found (bridging vein ) and it got repaired it would stay closed and not reopen unless another injury reopened it. How well can a repaired-vein stay closed ?

I’m talking about if veins could still have the strength or if it can repair itself

I would refer back to the original causation, as to if the vein's have strength. Strength is usually measured in the flexibility of the vein. Once it is scared or narrowed, then no it will not repair itself, but any previous repair may have resolved any further problems with that particular vein.

Everything repairs itself, but in the body it is more like a carbon copy, the more you copy the copy, the lower the definition. This is why we age.
